Have fun & Don’t eat too much candy!!

EDIT: Just a note of something funny that happened tonight. My house didn’t have many trick-or-treaters stop by, about 15 kids, but I did have one old lady. She looked to be in her mid 60′s and didn’t even bother to put on a costume. She did have a little plastic witch bag and she said trick-or-treat so I gave her candy.

October Snow October 27, 2008

October Morning Snow

It didn’t feel cold enough for snow this morning, but here it is. I don’t think I’m ready for snow just yet. I do hope that it triggers something in everyone that makes them want to run out to buy hats, scarves, and gloves; preferably hand-knit. The elusive office kitty is to the left in this photo. He usually runs away when I open the door but I guess he was too cold this morning to run.

Lol, do 2 pumpkins qualify as a fall harvest?  Anyway, here’s a photo of my 2 volunteer pumpkins.  I’m planning on emptying their seeds back into the same flower bed so maybe I’ll get more next year.

Sick Day October 2, 2008

Well, my day spent in the cold rain at the BGF has resulted in a case of bronchitis.  I’m home for the day and thought I would give you a peek of what I’ve been up to this week.  Since I haven’t felt like doing much I’ve been doing things that don’t require much counting or concentration.  I spun up these two little mini skeinlettes.

And of course, Snuggies, one of my Crafty Kittens had to lend a paw to help.
Snuggies helping again

I also knit up this cowl for a shop sample for A Likely Yarn using the most yummy buttery soft yarn ever. Yum, Malabrigo. I’m so spoiled now. Overlook my sickyness please.

The whole time I was trying to take that photo, Zoe, one of my other crafty kittens wanted some attention.
